2024 General Election
Introduction

South Africa is facing guaranteed failed state-status. In 2024, the Western Cape has a choice whether it will join the rest of South Africa to become a failed African state.

The DA believes it can export good governance to the rest of South Africa and will use the Western Cape as the main basis to form a coalition with the ANC against the will of their voters who will be gradually and more forcibly excluded from the country over time.

This is our last oppertunity to avoid becomming the next Zimbabwe

The Democratic Alliance is fully committed to remove that opportunity for their core voters because it believes it can export good governance to the rest of South Africa and will use the Western Cape as the main basis to form a political union with the ANC after the General Election in 2024.

What are the risks for the Western Cape?
Guaranteed Failed State-status
Cape Town will follow the same route as Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, Durban and Port Elizabeth until everything is broken, all investents have stopped and every skilled person either died of left the country.
Hard socialism, if not communism
The ANC have already embraced hard left policies such as BEE, NHI and EWC, sucking more money out of the pockets of Western Cape taxpayers. In coalition with the EFF and MK, these policies will be accelerated and become more extreme.
Irreversible demographic change
The population of the Western Cape is projected to grow by 15% before 2030 against buckling resources and infrastructure. The native Cape population will be swamped by illegal African migrants, who hate the DA and love the EFF.
Mass wealth destruction
Everything built since 1652 will be burnt, looted or destroyed until there are only ruins left. Unempoloyment, poverty, crime and corruption will grow to the same level as in the rest of South Africa.
Total constitutional collapse
A political partnership between the ANC, EFF and MK is nearing the 2/3rd majority it would require to make changes to the constitution to legalise policies like Expropriation Without Compensation..
Total exclusion of minorities
The unifying philosophy of the ANC, MK and EFF is that South Africa is a fundamentally “black” country. As such, they will implement policies that will increasingly make the lives of minorities more difficult until they are made poor or forced to leave the country.
For the sake of your children and the future of the Western Cape, all we ask is that you consider not voting DA on only 1 of 3 ballots for only 2024.
Why was the Referedum Party created?

The party was founded in November 2023 in response to Western Cape premier Alan Winde denying the Western Cape a referendum on Cape independence in October 2023.
